“GORJES YOU” Eco Salon was established by me, Kate Gornakova and my passion for hair design. I am a very artistic and creative hair stylist, I have been working with hair for over 16 years. My passion for hair design started at a very young age when I was fascinated in braiding my dolls hair. Starting out in Russia and then heading across to Melbourne where I have now been for 14 years. I regularly participate in continuous professional development events to keep my styles and skills up to date with current trends in fashion. I am always happy to help you decide which style will best suit you, depending on your occasion, style and taste.
KATE the TRICHOLOGIST
As a qualified hairdresser with a trichology specialty and salon owner, I have seen many clients with hair and scalp problems which prompted me to turn to Trichology. I have successfully completed the trichology certification course administered by The Pavlov First State Medical University of St. Petersburg in Russia and I haven’t looked back. Trichologists specialise in hair and scalp problems, hair loss, baldness, scaling, itching, hair breakage, dryness or oiliness of hair and scalp. Before I do any hair treatment I examine the hair microscopically to get deep down into the issue. KATE the COSMETIC CHEMIST
As a qualified cosmetic chemist I have developed GORJES ME Natural Hair Products Line! In 2019 I established the cosmetic laboratory. I’m so proud to have completed this incredible project! It took 3 Years of hard work and dedication under Research and Development activities to create this unique line of Hair Products. GORJES ME range of eco friendly and sustainable hair care products includes natural shampoo, conditioner and hair treatment bars and styling products. In my boutique laboratory, I managed to develop a formulas that combines the most innovative active ingredients in recommended use level, all to make your hair healthy inside out.
GORJES YOU Eco Salon. Every single detail here is designed to create a beautiful and comfortable salon environment for our guests. In this little spa paradise you’ll find loads of flowers, soft music and a complimentary cup of herbal tea or coffee. And the cherry on this piece of cake is the unbelievably comfortable Beauty & Spa chair designed by Takara Belmont Global.

ABOUT Yevheniia
Yevheniia - lab assistant
Yevheniia is a new staff member to the Gorjes team and we are very delighted that the right person is now working with us! Yevheniia joined us in October 2022,
Yevheniia has a Master degree of Technologies of Organic Substances, Food Additives and Cosmetics.
She is responsible for preparing samples of cosmetic products, great in analysing results based on findings, running quality checks on finished products as well as showing a great potential and theoretical knowledge to design, formulate, develop and enhance cosmetic products. She possesses a vast knowledge and proved her ability to use scientific databases and relevant sources of information to implement her knowledge in developing new products.
